Business Continuity Commitment

JMK are happy to confirm that we have appropriate business continuity procedures in place.

Our proprietary software and CRM system is web based – as such, core operations (payroll processing, payment of funds to workers, reporting to HMRC, the onboarding of contractors & verification of their identity and RTW documents) will be entirely unaffected should an outbreak affect employees ability to reach our offices of operations.

We have taken the following steps to ensure business continuity in the event of an isolation requirement or outbreak affecting employees at our offices of operation.

Telephone and work desk access continuity for customer service desk enquiries/registrations:

  • Internal employees that use laptop workstations/company mobiles have been instructed to remove these from the premises when leaving work and to keep them on hand at all times.
  • Internal employees that use desktop workstations have been provided with either: A laptop and company mobile that can handle inbound calls redirected from the office, or full VPN access to our servers from home. H&S risk assessments on home workstations that are not typically used are currently ongoing and will be completed by 17/03/2019

We firmly believe prevention to be the best course of action and are keen to mitigate the likelihood of any infection spreading:

  • All immediate non-essential meetings have been cancelled, where possible we will endeavour to ensure web based attendance. We hope that our clients and agency partners will understand this decision and work with us to minimise any potential disruption.
  • We have updated our internal H&S and staffing sickness policies in relation to Covid-19, with a view to ensure all operational employees are in no way encouraged to come into work when potentially sick.

Communication to workers remains ongoing, as the situation develops we will continue to update our advice and processes accordingly.
